Graduate of the Victoria University of Manchester, United Kingdom with Joint Honours. Post-graduate diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the International Learning Centre. Over 20 years’ experience in teaching English in London, U.K., Czech Republic and Poland. Author of text books for the Direct Method. Teacher trainer and Startup advisor for schools using the Direct Method of teaching English as a foreign language. When not teaching, I translate, proof and edit marketing materials, film subtitles and books, specialising in theology. In my free time I play the tenor horn in a brass band and enjoy all kinds of sports and gardening.
